JUNE 2018

The time is swiftly counting down when we will converge on the city of Philadelphia, PA, for the 57th Annual Session of the Progressive National Baptist Convention.

NOVEMBER 2017

The 56th Annual Session of PNBC is behind us. Houston was a welcoming site. As we left, however, we were heart-broken by the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey. Thanks to the quick service of Dr. Frankie T. Jones, Sr., Chairman of our Disaster Relief Task Force as he reached out to Vice-President Philip Kent of the Southwest Region to assist the Houston pastors.

DECEMBER 2016

Most of us are probably still in shock in the wake of Donald Trump being elected as the next president of the United States. A person who brazenly assaulted every decent standard and American value in his run for the most prestigious office in the world, Mr. Trump has caused the world to wonder what kind of nation we are and what kind of nation we're going to be.

SPRING 2016

Though it hardly seems possible, we are standing on the threshold of another annual session. August 7-12, 2016 will be here before we know it, and we can't afford not to be aware of all that we have in store when we gather at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans, LA for our 55th Annual Session.

FEBRUARY 2015

The 2015 Midwinter Board Meeting is behind us! It was a wonderful excperience! The new format was appreciated by attendees and provided for a program that flowed smoothly.

NOVEMBER 2014

The Midwinter Board meeting will convene January 18-23, 2015 at the Westin Virginia Beach Town Center, 4535 Commerce Street, Virginia Beach, VA.

OCTOBER 2014

The 53rd Annual Session of our beloved Progressive National Baptist Convention (PNBC) is behind us. I take this moment to express again my gratitude to my entire Progressive Family for the privilege of serving as your 20th president.

FALL 2014

TO ALL PNBC CONSTITUENTS: as part of my pledge to lift our voice on behalf of the voiceless, this bulletin is sent to inform you of how we are involved in speaking to the situation in Ferguson, MO as a result of the police murder of Michael Brown on Saturday, August 9, 2014.
