Devastation has hit again, and this time on the home front. This past weekend a ‘Tidal Wave’ of floodwaters overtook Tennesseans in just minutes.  To date, 22 people are known to have died as a result, and many others remain missing.  Therefore PNBC, we are called to ACTION, and we must act now.

Haiti Relief – A Message to PNBC

Again, we are called to ACTION.  As you may know, the nation of Haiti finds itself in trying times.  Political unrest has now been made worse by the recent earthquake, followed by Hurricane Grace.  As of now, over 1,400 precious brother and sisters have died as a result of this disaster.

59th Annual Session Update

On April 18, 2020 under the leadership of the Twenty-first President, Dr. Timothy Stewart, the Board of Directors of the Progressive National Baptist Convention, Inc. unanimously agreed upon a virtual Fifty-ninth Annual Session and authorized the President to use the influence of his office to usher the idea into reality.

On January 21, 2020 a young man in Washington State was diagnosed with novel coronavirus (covid-19), by February 26th we had our first case with a citizen with no travel history and by March 13th the President declared we had a national emergency as the pandemic reached all corners of the world.

Mother Jessie W. Jordan

Regretfully, we announced the passing and home-going of another Progressive sister, Mother Jessie W. Jordan (Oklahoma City, OK), affectionately known as “Mama J,” on January 21, 2020. At 105 years young, the Lord allowed her to take her eternal rest from earthly labor to receiving her eternal reward.

Mildred Louise Wormley peacefully went home to be with our Lord and joined the love of her life, Ernest D. Wormley, SR. on November 8, 2019.

Deacon Ernest D. Wormley peacefully went home to be with our Lord on October 19, 2019 at the age of 90.
