The Call Letter 1961 The Call Letter - Zion Baptist Church Our National Baptist Convention has reached an all-time low in fellowship, peace, and Christian dignity. We have completely lost our freedom to worship, participate and grow in the kingdom work as it is expressed in the Convention. We can no longer trust the integrity of its leadership. The time has come for freedom-loving, independent and peace-loving Christians to unite in a fellowship that they can trust. Why are we so afraid of building a new Convention? We act as though it is a terrible sin. Organizations exist to unite persons of similar interest in multiplied strength. There is nothing on earth to keep us from working toward worthy objectives and lofty goals. It is to this sacred call that you are invited to attend a Special Meeting for the formation of a new Convention on November 14 and 15 at Zion Baptist Church, 630 Glenwood Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio. Kindly respond quickly if possible.
